WANSTEAD

Wanstead is a place in East London situated on the A12 which means it is in Essex. Its name means “settlement on a small hill”.

MANOR HOUSE

Manor House is a rough part of North London that rubs up against the east of Finsbury Park. My experience of the area was a mixed one as I visited a work colleague’s flat there a number of times in late 2007 and early 2008, having to do the walk of shame.
